Position overview
Nongshim is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive and develop its business within the Dutch retail market. This role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with key customers, specifically Albert Heijn and Jumbo, while supporting the continued growth of Nongshim’s presence in the Netherlands.
This is a hands-on commercial role suited for a mid-level professional who combines account management experience with strong execution capabilities in FMCG, preferably within the food sector. It is a unique opportunity to drive the growth of a globally recognised brand in a fast-expanding region.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Manage and grow strategic relationships with Albert Heijn and Jumbo
- Drive joint business planning, assortment expansion, and promotional activities
- Act as the main point of contact for buyers and category managers
Sales & Business Development
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution, visibility, and sales performance
- Support the acquisition of additional retail customers within the Dutch market
- Execute commercial plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
Commercial Execution
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and annual agreements
- Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance and adjust activities accordingly
- Ensure strong in-store execution and alignment with marketing initiatives
Market & Category Insights
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer performance
- Provide input on product assortment, pricing, and positioning
- Support local activation and brand visibility initiatives
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams
- Ensure alignment between demand planning and commercial activities
Your Profile
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in FMCG, preferably within food or beverages
- Proven experience managing Dutch retail accounts, specifically Albert Heijn and Jumbo
- Experience in a manufacturer (A-brand or private label) environment is strongly preferred
- Solid track record in account management, negotiations, and revenue growth
Competencies & Skills
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and execution-driven mindset
- Good analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actions
- Comfortable working in an international and growing organisation
Languages
- Fluent in English
- Dutch is a strong plus
- No Korean language required
